Microsoft now reports that it has over 40,000 Windows Phone 7 app developers on board, and they receive over 100 new app submissions every day. The Redwood tech giant also say they are taking a different approach to filling their app store; carefully selecting apps and filtering out unnecessary ones to ensure there is more 'quality' than 'quantity' in their Marketplace. Perhaps a stab at Apple and their large collection of fart related apps, perhaps not.
